Exploring the Passion of Daily Art Enthusiasm...

First let me share a little about myself and my journey. I have been an art enthusiast for as long as I can remember. I developed my eye for beauty growing up as a young girl in the tropics introduced me to breathtaking flora and fauna like hibiscus flowers, red fire ants, tree frogs, and tall, leafy palm trees.

My creative streak blossomed as I grew and I enjoyed painting and drawing from the moment I gave it a try.

While attending Grade 12 in Calgary, Alberta, I won a Stampede Art Scholarship in 1998 and attended the Alberta College of Art and Design from 1998-2001 studying drawing, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, and design visualization.

I believe that art appreciation can mean many things because there is beauty all around us. Every time I look at the sky, the trees, the mountains, the rivers, the lakes and the valleys in Western Canada I'm filled with an overwhelming awe and appreciation for where I live.

In my early 20's I moved to Vancouver Island and moved several times before finally settling down in Nanaimo, BC. I am still a very big art enthusiast and appreciate beauty, art, and the natural world around us. Please feel free to purchase my unique art on my website.
